Itinerary and Cost

We usually start our Chernobyl tour at 9 a.m.

  • Drive to Chernobyl with passing "Dytyatky" (on the border of the 30-km "Zone of Estrangement").
  • Arrival to Chernobyl. Meeting with the leadership of "Chernobylinterinform" Agency.
  • On the way to Power Plant we pass 10-km border and check point
  • Sightseeing of reactor # 4(from 100 m. distance).
  • Visit to Pripyat. Sightseeing of "Dead town".
  • Stop near the "Red forest".
  • Return to Chernobyl. Lunch.
  • Visit to the Scientific Centre (physical, radiochemical laboratories and others).
  • Calling in "Opachychi" village, meeting with "resettlers", people who have moved back to their villages after evacuation(optional).
  • Important - Passage to "Rossokha" village, cemetery of military machineries - ACCESS FORBIDDEN BY THE GOVERNMENT STARTING APRIL 2008
  • Passage through Control Point "Dytyatky". Measuring of radiation.
  • Return to Kiev. (Back in Keiv around 6 p.m.)

Important !

  • On entering and leaving the 30 kilometers zone each participant undergo radioactivity control using Western equipment.
  • Although the tour is 100% safe a strict comprehension of a guide's instructions is required in order to avoid unnecessarily exposing to the radioactivity.
  • Photo and video during the tour are permitted (exept check points and places specified by a guide).

(Please be aware that you can book as early as six months in advance. We try to help all our clients even those who contact us on a short notice - however we'd appriciate if you allow us at least SIX business days.)
Chernobyl's authority allows limited number of visitors at their restricted area at a time.
The cost is net and includes everything from "pick up" in Kiev in the morning to "drop off" in Kiev at night. Those who book first have a "pick up" priority at their address.
Booking process involves security screening so your personal data (such as full name, date of birth, passposrt # and job title etc.) will be required. NO VISITORS UNDER 18 Y.O. ALLOWED.
Important, no hidden charges, don't be scammed by some on-line agencies offering misleading prices for tours to Chernobyl.

We can also arrange for you Two or Three Days program
